About me
I have been knocked down more times than I care to admit. I'm the female version of Rocky Balboa. We keep getting up after being punched in the face and knocked down.
The wonderful thing is that we DO keep getting up! Resilience! I don't live a perfect life, but I sure do all I can to live the life God created for me.
I'm the President of Real Life Trading, an online stock market trading education company. As a business consultant, I help businesses become more profitable and solve owner headaches. I am on the Board of Directors for Real Life Foundation and Daughters United. I write books for adults and children. I go to as many baseball and sports games as I can to see my nephews and nieces play - I want them to know I am there #1 fan and always will be! I spend as much time as I can with family and I try to be as efficient as possible so I can get it all done and enjoy life.
I know what it is like to feel defeated spiritually and financially. I've decided to take my experience and the expertise of some close friends to bring you life-changing perspectives and practical KINGDOM tools for life.
Be willing to change
In order to live a different and better life, you have to be willing to do things you may have not done in the past. This can involve physical changes, change in mind set, change in the way you talk to yourself. Changes in your comfort zone. Everything will involve CHANGE.
Don't let the word 'change' scare you. You want change in your life, or you wouldn't have read this far. It's ok to feel uncomfortable with change. It's not OK to know you need to change but keep living the same life day in and day out and wonder what 'happened to my life?'
We only get one chance at life so even though sometimes we might not like what we are living, or we can hate what we are going through, it is still better to know that small decisions will cause big changes in our life.
Do it, or regret it.
I almost missed this opportunity to get a kiss from a zebra!
I never thought about getting this close to a wild animal. And when I had the chance to go inside and feed them, I didn't want slobber all over my hands. The zebra trainer told me that the zebras like to kiss. I made it clear there would be NO KISSING! The last thing I wanted was zebra spit on my face.
As I stood outside looking in, I thought, "When will I ever get a chance to be this close to a tamed wild animal?" Then I thought, "Xoch, your reasons are dumb- get inside and feed the zebras."
I fell in love with the zebras!! I had no idea just how beautiful their eyes are. I was afraid the zebra would bite my nose off, but when I looked into his eye, I was in love! They are so gentle and kind.
Had I stuck to my 'normal' thought, I would be regretting it to this day. Sometimes, we just have to say - I am doing it!
Don't know how?
I grew up in a garage, would I know yacht etiquette? Absolutely not!
We are not expected to have the answers to everything, but it helps to have the resources to find those answers. As a community of women in different areas, we have access to answers and knowledge that would take us a lifetime to acquire.

The Course is broken up into areas of interest. Not all women want growth in the same area, so it is broken up for you to select the area you want the quickest growth in.
Life encompasses all areas of who we are. Growth is a lifelong process, and the quicker we align with what God has for us, the quicker we get to enjoy the abundance He has made available for us.
